Do I need to make a booking?

Yes school group bookings are required. To make a booking you can call one of our Educators on (03) 9693 8810 or fill out an online booking form.

What does it cost to visit the Eureka Skydeck 88?

Do teachers have to pay?

Teachers are free on a ratio of 1:10. Click here to go to the pricing page.

Does our visit include the Edge?

No. The Edge is sold separately on Level 88, up to individual teachers.  Children under the age of 8 must have parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult. We do not accept payment for the Edge with Entry admission payment.

Do we have to pay on the day?

Payment can be made either on arrival or be invoiced after your visit.

Pay on arrival:

Full payment must be made in one single transaction on arrival with cash or credit card only. No cheques will be accepted on arrival.



Payment can be invoices to schools after their visit. Invoice for payment is to be made in full within 30 days from the date of invoice. Invoices can be paid with cheque or via direct debit.

What are the opening times?

We are open from 10am until 10pm every day. Last entry is at 9.30pm. Schools are recommended to arrive no later than 9pm. New 9.00am sessions are available for school groups. Contact the Education Co-ordinator for terms and conditions.

How long should we spend there?

Allow approximately 1 – 1½ hours.

What teaching resources are available?

Eureka Skydeck provides various resources which cater for all year levels and different areas of study. These can be downloaded from our resources page.

Are there any cancellation fees?

Once confirmed, cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or non-arrival will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the total cost. The cancellation fee will be waived in the event of inclement weather or if the booking is rescheduled to another day.

Are lockers available?

No. Students must carry their belongings with them at all times. We recommend school bags are left at school/ on the bus, or shared between students.

Do you have Risk Management Information?

Do you have wheelchair access?

The Skydeck and the Edge are both readily accessible via standard wheelchair.

Does the Edge operate everyday?

The Edge operates every day except in extreme weather conditions where the Edge would need to close. Enquiries can be made on the day as to whether the Edge would be closed due to weather conditions.

Can I book the Edge?

We do not take bookings for the Edge experience, nor can we guarantee exclusive use of the Edge.

How do I get to the Skydeck by public transport?

The best way to get to us via public transport is to get to Flinders Street Station, take the Southbank exit from the platform and take the foot bridge over the river. Keep walking straight, and turn right when you get to the roundabout. We are located next to the Travelodge hotel. For a detailed map, please click here.

Is there bus parking available?

There are three 1 hour bus parks beside the Eureka building located on City Road near the corner Southgate Avenue.
